Divya Sutra Suites on Robson Downtown Vancouver

We had a great experience one night stay at this hotel. Room was clean and beautiful view from the balcony. The location was perfect and lots of options for eating and you can find everything near this hotel. We enjoyed and I recommend come and visit this place and you will get good deal.

I was surprised by how much I loved this stay! I stayed in the Penthouse Suite. The views are incredible from the patio especially at night. Great water pressure. Staff is very kind and sweet and accommodating. I interacted with 4 different employees throughout my stay and all were very professional, well dressed, and polished. For how affordable the rooms are, and the prime location, you can’t beat it! As mentioned in other reviews, yes they have additional fees for things like leaving dirty dishes, using the kitchen area (not applicable to the penthouse suite), etc, but they are all clearly written in their policies and as long as you follow the set rules you will not accrue any additional unknown fees. I think these policies are perfectly acceptable due to the fact that the rooms are so cheap at base, and the fees are not unreasonably priced. Just be aware and plan accordingly if you plan to use the kitchen or stow bags or something like that. Special mentions: - they have an aquarium in the lobby! I loved looking at it while waiting for in line for check in. - when i first walked into the room they had one of those “cozy fireplace” videos with soothing music playing on youtube, which i thought was a really nice touch. and that also means that have smart tvs! - wifi was fast and easy to set up - Diana was very kind and a great help and even brought me coffee and chocolate in the morning while I waited in the lobby

You get what you pay for, it definitely has amazing value for the location, but it was run down and there was hair and stains on the sheets when we arrived. The check in was very slow and confusing, but they were training a new person, so I wouldn't fault them for that. But the key card did stop working on the second day and we had to get a new one. We read lots of reviews about the micro charges so we were just really careful to not use the stove, not get anything on the towels, and really scrub any dishes used. Worth the price, definitely not high quality.

The service was genuinely excellent—staff were on point, respectful, and actually cared instead of just doing the bare minimum. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and super comfortable, the kind where you can actually relax after a long day. And the view from the room? Straight-up amazing. Waking up to that every day was a win. Old-school hospitality done right, with modern comfort. Would 100% stay again.

We had a lovely time here! The rooms are super spacious, clean, and offer a nice view of the street. It stayed nice and warm inside, and having free access to the fridge and microwave was a big plus. Just a heads-up that there’s an extra fee of 25 CAD if you want to use the stove or oven. Overall, a really comfortable stay!

I had a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. The location was perfect and close to everything, which made my trip so much easier. The price was very reasonable, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the room was clean with a beautiful view. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily come back again.

Our stay at HOTEL OPPORTUNE, previously Divya Sutra Suites, was wonderful! If arriving from Vancouver Island, the hotel is conveniently located just a five minute Uber ride from the Hullo ferry terminal. Upon arrival the hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The penthouse suite had a private bedroom including a balcony with a beautiful view of both the ocean and Robson street, great for photography. The cost of the suite was also quite affordable. I would definitely stay here again and I’d highly recommend it to others.
